Fáilte Ireland have added a new part to their Wild Atlantic Way campaign. RTÉ 2fm’s most popular broadcaster, Ryan Tubridy, will be helping out with the campaign.
On June 10th 2015 Tubridy will be hosting one of a number of outdoor broadcasts. The show will be broadcasted from The Square, Dunfanaghy. The series of outdoor broadcasts will have Ryan Tubridy focusing on the tourism route along the west coast.
The 2fm team will have a busy week, recording from a number of different places: Westport, Co. Mayo on June 8th, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo, June 9th, and The Square, Dunfanaghy on June 10th.
In order to bring attention to the popular tourist route and attract visitors, Tubridy will be interviewing a number of local businesses in the areas and will discuss activities to do along the west coast route.
Fáilte Ireland is encouraging listeners to attend the broadcast if they are nearby. Ahead of the broadcast, Joan Crawford from Fáilte Ireland has said: “We are delighted that Ryan has decided to experience the Wild Atlantic Way first-hand and more importantly tell his listeners about it […] We are encouraging everyone to come on down and join us in bringing the Wild Atlantic Way to cars and kitchens right across the country.
The show will be broadcasted at 8:45 – 11:00 on Wednesday, June 10th, from The Square, Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal.
