Churchill eased to 6/1 for Epsom Derby

May 19, 2017, 12:53

Cliffs Of Moher and Cracksman now 4/1 joint favourites

BoyleSports have eased 2000 Guineas winner Churchill out to 6/1 from 5/1 as the Irish 2000 Guineas is likely to be his next port of call.

As a result his stable mate Cliffs Of Moher is now 4/1 joint favourite from 5/1 alongside the John Gosden trained Cracksman who avoided yesterday’s Dante Stakes at York due to ground conditions but is likely to have a gallop at next Tuesday mornings Breakfast with the Stars.

Eminent is next in the betting at 10/1 with yesterday’s Dante Stakes winner, Permian priced at 12/1 alongside another Ballydoyle entrant Yucatan.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports spokesperson said “With Aidan O’Brien hinting that Churchill is likely to be Irish 2000 Guineas bound we have eased him out to 6/1 from 5/1 for next month’s Epsom classic.”

He added “Stable mate Cliffs Of Moher is now the 4/1 joint favourite alongside Cracksman and we will leave it up to punters to see who they will make the clear favourite.”
