Richard Oakley appointed Editor of the Sunday Business Post
Richie will formally take up his new role in mid-August, replacing Susan Mitchell, Deputy Editor, who has been the Acting Editor of the Sunday Business Post pending this appointment.

Peter Bodkin has left TheJournal.ie
Most recently Peter was the Special Projects and Investigations Editor with TheJournal.ie. He was previously the Editor of Fora.ie, and prior to that was the Business Editor at TheJournal.ie.

Aiden Corkery to join the Sunday Business Post
The former Head of News at the Irish Daily Mail, Aiden Corkery, has joined the Sunday Business Post as a Political Correspondent.

Mark Cagney announces departure from Ireland AM
Virgin Media Television has confirmed Mark Cagney’s departure from Ireland AM after almost 20 years at the helm of the breakfast show. Mark’s last show will be today, July 31.
Shauna Bowers has joined The Irish Times
Shauna Bowers is now a News Reporter with the Irish Times. Shauna previously worked with The Times (Ireland Edition) and the Sunday Times.

Emma Nolan is FM 104’s new 10-3 presenter
Emma previously presented ‘The Takeover’ on Beat 102-103FM and was the Multi-Platform Content Coordinator with the station.

The Currency has hired two new staff members
Thomas Hubert, formerly of the Irish Farmers Journal, and Francesca Comyn, who was a Legal Affairs Correspondent with the Sunday Business Post, are set to join Ian Kehoe and Tom Lyon’s The Currency.
Catherine Sanz is starting a new role with Storyful in New York
Next month, Catherine will take up a role as a Senior Journalist with Storyful in NYC. Catherine was previously a news reporter with The Ireland Edition of The Times. Before this, she was with The Sunday Times.
