The broadcaster is now seeking to fill the role of News & Current Affairs Managing Director.
It is mentioned that this role will involve “leading through a period of unprecedented change.”
Year on year we have seen an increase in online and mobile journalism with the. The new Managing Director will be faced with the task of continuing RTÉ’s online success and overseeing new ways to adapt to change.
The role will also involve “the future development of the organisation and it’s staff.” RTÉ have a busy team, and this role will involve ensuring all present staff and new staff are trained to carry out their duties to expected standards.
