The Public Relations Institute of Ireland hosted their annual Awards for Excellence in Public Relations today in the Shelbourne Hotel. The Gala Luncheon featured Irish companies at the top of their PR game. They include the likes of RTE, Dublin Zoo, and Failte Ireland.
In our latest blog, we recount the winners of this years PRII Awards, not to forget the countless other Irish brands who strive for success in public relations.
The following were some of the winners from todays event:
* New Slang scooped up ‘Best Use of Social Media’ for their #HBGoodbyeSerious PR campaign.
* Garda Traffic won a pr award for ‘Use of Engaging The Public Through Social Media’.
* ‘Best Public Information Campaign’ went to Safefood.
* An Post Ras picked up ‘Best Sponsorship under €50K’.
Other winners on the day included Meteor Mobile, Bord Gais Energy, Liberty Insurance and Wilson Hartnell. The most coveted prize of the night, ‘Young Communications Professional’, went to Martyn Rosney.
