Graham Torrington is leaving BBC Local Radio

Graham Torrington has announced he’s leaving his BBC Local Radio show across the Midlands, and retiring from radio after a career spanning nearly 40 years.

Fergus Walsh has been promoted at BBC News

Fergus Walsh has been promoted to Medical Editor in recognition of his coverage of the Covid19 pandemic.

Fergus was previously medical correspondent at the BBC for 16 years.

Emma Boyde has been promoted at Financial Times

Emma Boyde is the ETF News Editor at Financial Times (FT).

She was previously Asia World News Editor at the FT.

Lucy Fisher will move from The Times to The Telegraph

Telegraph Media Group has appointed Lucy Fisher as Deputy Political Editor.

Lucy will join the Telegraph in the Autumn. She is currently Defence Editor for The Times and has also served as Chief Political Correspondent.

Kuba Shand-Baptiste has been promoted at The Independent

Kuba Shand-Baptiste is the Acting Deputy Editor on The Independent’s Voices desk, previously serving as Commissioning Editor on the desk.

She was previously an editorial intern with The Pool.

Kyle Caldwell has moved to Interactive Investor

Kyle is the Collectives editor at Interactive Investor.

Kyle began the role at the beginning August 2020 and joined from Money Observer, where he was previously the deputy editor for the title.

Jessie Aru Phillips has joined BBC Radio Merseyside

Jessie Aru Phillips is a Saturday breakfast show presenter at BBC Radio Merseyside.

Jessie is an award-winning podcast producer and also recently joined The Daily Telegraph as Senior Sport Social Media Editor.

Sue-Lin Wong has joined The Economist

Sue-Lin Wong has been appointed China Correspondent at The Economist
